In the lead up to the SHOT Show Supplier Showcase taking place in Las Vegas, January 19-20, 2026, Dimension-Polyant is focusing on a couple of tactical fabrics that it will be highlighting at the show.
First up is X-Pac® X50 Tactical – the workhorse of the X-Pac® Tactical fabric line – in Woodland Camouflage.
Known for its incredibly lightweight yet extremely durable performance, X-Pac® X50 Tactical is made with a rugged 500D CORDURA® face fabric with a 400D Aramid X-PLY® reinforcement, which is lighter weight, and stronger than traditional polyester X-PLY® reinforcement. The fabric is backed with a polyester film to ensure the material is completely weatherproof. The result is a highly abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, waterproof material.

The Woodland pattern, also known as M81, made its debut in 1981. It became an iconic U.S. military staple thanks to its four-color design that breaks up the human outline in forested terrain. Though replaced by digital camo in the 2000s, it remains widely used in hunting and tactical gear, and continues to shape modern camouflage.
James Lang, Dimension Polyant Sales Manager, X-Pac® Tactical, referenced a big push for M81 Woodland Camo recently, where a few brands and distributors were promoting gear featuring the iconic print.
According to Lang, Tactical Distributors, a company that sells several X-Pac® Tactical brand partners’ gear, recently announced its “Woodland Week” that took place this December 8-12.
Additionally, Haley Strategic Partners, another X-Pac® Tactical customer, recently launched a Limited Edition Flatpack X in M81 Woodland made with X50 Tactical Woodland fabric as a 10th anniversary edition.
